As a Marketing and Communication Associate at ITRE, I was tasked with posting on ITRE's social media accounts. I wanted to take initiative and share our social media analytics with ITRE leadership so I created "ITRE Social Media Highlights". I shared the following PDFs each month from June 2021 to January 2022.
My inspiration for this project was an infographic style newsletter to inform ITRE staff of our social media successes. While the design has morphed and developed since the first infographic in June 2021, the general format has stayed the same.
Each infographic starts with a title, including ITRE's logo and the current month. Then we move into Analytics for ITRE's Twitter, Facebook, and (eventually) LinkedIn profiles. As time went on, I adjusted these statistics to best showcase the trends I was observing.
The grey section titled Social Media Wins, included social media posts from each platform that had exceptional success that month. Each post was linked so viewers could see the post directly. Below each linked image, I included reasoning for showcasing that particular posts, as well as kudos for the ITRE staff show the post was about or who shared the post with me.
The bottom red section was my call-to-action for ITRE leadership. I wanted to let them know how they could best help me improve ITRE's social media presence. Each month, they were incredibly receptive of my requests.
In January 2022, I wanted share ITRE's growth since I started working on their social media. I created a "2021 Year in Review" to showcase all the amazing things ITRE had accomplished in such a short period of time on social media.
